Scheduling Matches
Each week, teams will be required to play their matches by a specific "fallback" time, determined by each team's declared region (See Below) for the Qualifying Round, Top Bracket, and Bottom Bracket Winnowing matches, or Friday at 7 pm central for Bottom Bracket Elimination rounds.

Basically, in the bottom bracket you must play elimination and winnowing matches each week. The elimination match will take place on Friday, while the winnowing is on Saturday or Sunday. You MUST get your elimination matches played before the friday fallback, so that you can schedule your winnowing match on saturday or sunday. You may play any time during the week if both teams wish.

One of the disadvantages of being in the bottom bracket is that it's tough to schedule matches. We suggest that you clear your plans and expect to play within a few hours of the fallback times.

All correspondence regarding rescheduling should be cc'd to the staff. This is for your own safety, so that the team you're scheduling with cannot play dumb later and force you into forfeiting or playing with an incomplete team.

IMPORTANT: New Fallback System
This year we are implementing a brand new fallback system to accomodate different nations and their preferred playing times. You must choose one of these time zones for your team, and your fallback times will be assigned based on the choices of the two teams. The time for your next match will be clearly displayed on your team page. Be sure to tell your team when to show up.

Note that bottom bracket elimination matches will ALWAYS have their fallback on Friday, 7pm CDT.

Also note that you can always reschedule matches with your opponents. These times are still fallback times, to be used if you cannot come to an agreement.

Below is the fallback time chart. Consider the options carefully, as this option will be locked shortly after the tournament begins. You may use this clock to find the current CDT time - Current Time US CENTRAL CDT.

Playing the Games
Each team may have 7 players in a game at one time. Not just on a team, but in the game - teams may not have an 8th player as a "neutral observer" unless he is the host, or the other team agrees.

Also, do not load more than 7 players into a game while you wait for your team captain to choose his seven for that game. It's rude, annoying, and it keeps the other team from being able to have all their members present. Please choose your team's players either during practices, or in the lobby before the game.

Also note that changes to a team's roster may only be made during the Qualifying Round, and must be made before your match is to be played. If you use a player who is not authorized to play for you, we will have to take action against you.

After a match ends, the winning team will be responsible for uploading ALL the films to our website, not just the games they won. Winning teams who do not upload their films within 24 hours after their match will be penalized.
Uploading Films
Once your match has concluded, the winning team must either send us the films from the match, or preferably upload them with our specially designed script. Teams who do not submit their films by midnight central on the Wednesday after fallback will be penalized 10 points per day late, to a maximum of the value of the missing games. If you have some but not all films, submit what you have by email to avoid excessive penalty.
