This match started off very exciting, especially after games 2 and 3, but by game 5 I was about ready to call it quits, and I suspect some Ooh! members were similarly inclined.

Game 1 was a blunder from the get-go, as Ooh leave almost all their arty at home on such a large map.  Needless to say, they don't really recover.

Game 2.  This one was more interesting.  Cg plays well and the numbers show it, but they cannot tag the heavily defended last flag up on the ramparts.  Ooh had a chance to tag with 3 myrks in the NE, but that disspates pretty fast.  Some stellar ground to air artillary this game.

Game 3 was the one game that challenged Cg to the utmost.  Ooh storm across mid right off the bat, and a distanced Cg team tries to react, but with too little too late as Ooh plows into their home flag and force the win.  Some admirable ghol dancing at the Ooh home flag at the end that goes unrewarded.  Quck and fierce game.

Game 4 returns to the pattern set by games one and two, with a huddled Ooh team fending off well-coordinated multi-directional attacks by a superior Cg team.  Game 5 upholds this pattern as standard.  Both games are more or less blowouts, but game 4 was the closer of the two.  Ooh did their best but with numbers and skill Cg takes the win with ease.
Game 1 - Flag Rally on Shuffle off this Mortal Coil
Lina caps with 8 and vinylrake with 5.  Loco is observer.  Monsterstool's zerk squad slinks back for lack of artillery, as gc's large force advances to take flag 6 (NE).  5 flags to 4.  Oøh is down 7%.

At about the 9 minute mark, a series of unfortunate events unfold for Ooh.  Lina's mixed zerk+myrk horde babysitting mid cuts off Monsterstool, disemboweling every single one of his northmen before vanishing back to mid. Fruminous suddenly finds himself in a bind, with Pele's arty pecking at him.   Gc, clearly with the upperhand, push toward the Ooh home, where most of the Ooh! arty sits immobile.  Vinyl's lock and fetch arrive ME to reinforce Monsterstool's 5 pigs, but are outgunned by Leif and Ford Prefect's ruthlessly advancing archers.  Taking flag 2 (S) and 8 (Rt tower), gc have all but won the game.

Fruminous trounces Pele's major arty force, but loses nearly all his units in the process, now with only 3 myrks with which to attempt to storm Lina's artillery sitting pretty on flag 7.  Gc are up 77% - 47%.

Wightslayer moves in and cleans up Monsterstool and co.'s ME force.  Gc converges on the Ooh home and proceeds to wipe the floor.  Even so, Infector manages to autolock his team, twice, though they still win, 56% - 1%.
Game 2 - Flag Rally on Shuffle off this Mortal Coil
Ooh is again melee-heavy, while Gc opts for an archer driven army.  Although Lina loses her arty to Frum's hungry force, she manages to dispatch him completely with 6 surviving myrks.  Monsterkill's myrk horde swoops down and makes quick work out of Leif's artillery, destroying his whole flank, but also suffering heavy losses in the process.  He loses 2 of his 3 remaining myrks, and thus cannot hope to tag the last 3 flags, each defended with at least 2 pigs.  At this point Gc needs only flag 8, heavily guarded atop the ramparts, to take the game.

Although Gc was up 50% - 29%, the game settles into a sort of stalemate, with Ooh nursing their one flag.  Gc loses some arty, and falls back at a less threatening 34%.  This game was much closer, but Gc pulls away with a 2 flag advantage, and 10% in numbers.
Game 3 - Capture the Flag on Drowned Empire
Baak with 6, Pele with 7.  This game was a fun one to watch.

Ooh!'s main force barrels through mid while Gc's army is split into 2 prong sections.  At some point Gc realizes that their home flag is in danger of being overrun, and attempts to rally back home, while still applying pressure on Ooh's home base.  Ooh manages to see their inherent advantage in speed and grabs Gc's flag first, although Gc are close behind and contest Ooh's home.  However, Gc makes a miscalculation and loses the contestation.  At 45% - 30%, Ooh takes back their home flag and wins the game.
Game 4 - Captures on The Barrens (Venice x2)
Baak with 6 and Lina with 7.  This game starts off great, but some bad playing marrs an otherwise great game.  Ooh start off strong but eventually lose all their units to a more coherent Gc team, who surrounds them.  Although they tag nearly all the flags, the Ooh team is annihilated, Lina's warrior defeats vinyl's 1-kill vet in unaided combat, and Gc takes the win.
Game 5 - Last Man on the Hill on The Dessert Between Your Teeth
Frum and Lina square off, 6 vs 7.  Gc goes for puss, Ooh has a 2 stygian and 2 archer advantage, as well as more warriors.  Similar net result as the previous game.  Ooh clumps up mid and a better coordinated Gc picks them apart and ultimately takes the game, and the match, with 61% left.
