Review by Duck-Face Killah - Overview

Tank Clan dies a peaceful death.

Game 1 - Flag Rally on Lichen unto Death Final (light)

Supreme has a temple D plus roaming rushers whilst Tank Clan takes a refreshingly new approach to Lichen FR by sending the juggernaut from hell across the wide flank to the enemy temple. This leaves a nice compact battle to watch, whilst Sharp Cutting Sword controls a flag-hungry warr pack (shadowed by Duan, rendered ineffectual), and a free roaming puss-pack (pusses the living jinkies out of some thrall to earn a base flag).

As for le battle, there's a nice satchel shower courtesy of Muse, and a flame arrow bounces off the shield to land far, far away into a mountain. That made me smile. Besides that, TC eventually gets rushed and dies.

Game 2 - Territories on Caer Cadarn (Trow)

This game had probably the quietest planning time I've ever seen in an mwc match. It was very relaxing.

TC flanks a trow N, and captures the 6 surrounding flags. SCS calls for a collapse on mid to gain the last flag, but the TC mid has already perished.

Mop, meet bucket.

Game 3 - Capture The Flag on Grilling Grounds (Light)

This game was almost quite suspenseful, but the Tanks, ever the chi-conscious warriors, decided it was best not to interrupt the overall tranquility flowing through the match.

At first, the Tanks hide a trow flank west. Supreme push steadily mid, but when they discover the trow flank, all hell begins to break loose.

Practically half of Supreme's army races back across the map to the flag, and Phaedrus seizes the moment, executing a brilliantly-timed melee rush on an exposed squad which leaves TC up 95% to 83%.

Building confidence, the Tanks pick and wear away the lesser remnants of Supreme's mid until they can recollect themselves.

Enigman, having recovered from the threat, brings his trow back into the fray.

Facing off battle-worn and battle-ready, the two sides are cocked, loaded, and posed for chaos...

...but in the end, it is Annibal who keeps the peace...
