 | While DE1 will feature many matches that are virtually decided, here are some that break the mold. OH (#31) vs. kuk (#34) ok, so this really wouldn't be much of an upset with kuk (#34) beating OH (#31), but I think kuk will play better in DE, and could even have a fairly close match with Cirque in DE2. f (#29) vs. kfc (#36) again, not much of an upset, but really what do you expect in DE1? A #60s seed has less of a chance of winning than a similarly ranked team in the NCAA basketball tourney (a 16 seed has never beaten a 1 seed in the NCAA tourney). kfc has boosted their roster and will win this one, although they probably won't be able to give MoR a run for their money in DE2. Lg (#32) vs. A (#33) I like A in this one, although I think it will be close, although the term upset in this match is probably an exaggeration.... Other matches where upsets are possible: TO (#30) vs. qp (#35) rm (#27) vs. twd (#38) The rest of DE1 will go pretty much by seed as far as I can tell. But keep your eye out for an upset or two in DE2. |
